Man accused of sexual assault at New Hampshire Burger King

Serious charges have been leveled against a man who was employed as a manager at a Burger King in New Hampshire. According to those charges, the man used his position to sexually assault the young women -- many of them teenagers -- who worked with him at the restaurant.

To make things worse, the reports indicate that he then told them that he was a police officer, which was not true, in order to intimidate them. He threatened to use physical force, allegedly saying that he would shoot the girls or have them taken to jail if they decided to report the things that had happened.

One of the girls who was assaulted, who was 16 years old at the time, did threaten to go to the authorities. Furthermore, she attempted to tell another manager, but the complaint was largely brushed aside. Also, the man found out that she had put in the report, which is when he made his threats to keep it from going to the police.

After the police report was made, though, other girls came forward and made similar claims. One of them said that some of the incidents had occurred in a walk-in freezer, and she indicated that these were not isolated incidents, but things that happened frequently.

Some reports from authorities indicate that the man has admitted that he was involved in the alleged crimes. He has been held with a bail set at $10,000.

No matter what charges have been brought against people in New Hampshire, all residents have a right to a fair trial, and they all deserve to have the proper legal representation, in accordance with the law.
