Peterborough EMT accused of stealing narcotics from ambulances

Drug-related crimes carry harsh penalties in the state of New Hampshire, which is why it's imperative that you speak with a New Hampshire lawyer soon after your arrest. With the help of an experienced attorney, you'll be well-equipped to defend yourself in court and end up with an outcome that is in your favor.

According to WMUR, a regional news outlet, a former paramedic and clinical director for the Peterborough Ambulance Service was arrested on August 3 for allegedly stealing narcotics from Peterborough Fire Department ambulances. Local law enforcement officials told the source that they believe 34-year-old Antrim resident Jeremy Bouchard had been taking morphine and fentanyl from the vehicles for an entire year before he was ultimately apprehended.

The Union Leader states that Bouchard -- who has pleaded not guilty -- waived his right to a probable cause hearing on Tuesday, September 10, and notes that a grand jury will be tasked with considering an indictment.

Following his arrest, the 34-year-old was placed on paid leave and officially resigned from his position on August 9. Additionally, the news outlet reports that the "state Division of Fire Standards and Training and Emergency Medical Services suspended his paramedic license."

Have you been accused of a serious drug-related crime in the New Hampshire? If so, you owe it to yourself to consult a skilled New Hampshire lawyer who has experience with cases similar to yours. These knowledgeable professionals can work tirelessly on your behalf and defend you in a court of law, ensuring that your rights are protected before, during and after a trial.
