17-year-old robbed and pistol-whipped in Manchester alley

When you've been charged with a crime, it may feel like your options are limited, which is why you need an experienced New Hampshire lawyer to advocate on your behalf to ensure that you are treated fairly throughout the court process.

Two men who allegedly robbed and pistol-whipped 17-year-old Jovan Callaghan in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Tuesday, July 16, will need to find lawyers in NH to take on their case. According to regional news outlet the Union Leader, Callaghan was ambushed by the armed males after a friend from whom he had accepted a ride drove him into an alley where the suspects had been waiting. The criminals reportedly took his iPhone and an undisclosed amount of cash and then used the butt of a handgun to strike the teenager in the face.

Callaghan left the scene of the crime and called the police, who were able to locate one of the suspects -- 17-year-old Alexander Cummings of Manchester -- who they arrested at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17.

Law enforcement authorities are still on the lookout for the second suspect. The source notes that he is "described as a black male with light skin, about 5-foot-7, [with a] thin build" and that he "was last seen wearing shorts and had a red shirt covering his face."

If you've been accused of a crime in the Granite State, you may feel like the whole justice system is against you. With this in mind, it's essential not to settle for mediocre legal representation. You owe it to yourself to consult with an experienced New Hampshire lawyer. These knowledgeable professionals can review your case and defend you in a court of law.
