Clean Up Your Criminal Record

Have you been convicted of a crime in NH? Do you want a clean record?

In New Hampshire you can request an ANNULMENT from the courts. If granted, your record will be treated in all respects as if you had never been arrested, convicted or sentenced. Based on the crime, there is a waiting period.

Conviction

When You Can Annul

Criminal Violation

1 year after terms of your sentence are completed

Class A or B Misdemeanor

3 year after terms of your sentence are completed

Class B Felony

5 years after the terms of your sentence are completed

Class A Felony

10 years after the terms of your sentence are completed (with certain exceptions)

Felony for indecent exposure or lewdness

10 years after the terms of your sentence are completed

If you are convicted of a crime in the future after the order of annulment has been entered, the annuled conviction may be considered by the court in determining the sentence to be imposed, and may be counted toward habitual offender status.

If you believe you have a crime that can be annuled, contact us by calling 603-332-3535 or filling out the contact form on the left side of this web page.
