Derry woman pleads guilty to local robberies

If you've been accused of a crime, you may feel like the whole justice system is against you. With this in mind, it is essential that you consult a New Hampshire lawyer immediately, as these experienced professionals can advocate on your behalf and make sure that you receive a fair trial.

According to the Union Leader, a regional news source, 23-year-old Rochelle Richards of Derry, New Hampshire, "pleaded guilty to charges of attempted robbery, robbery and possession of a controlled drug (heroin)" on Thursday, September 5. As a result of her plea agreement with prosecutors, Richards was sentenced to one to three years in prison for her crimes.

The source states that the defendant was arrested in April after robbing East Derry General Store on April 7 and attempting to steal from a Subway restaurant in Londonderry two days later. When Derry police officers apprehended the 23-year-old, they were able to connect her to two additional heists in the area that occurred around that same time period.

In addition to serving her prison term, Richards has been ordered to pay the East Derry General Store $757 in restitution.

Have you been accused of robbery or another serious crime in the Granite State? If so, don't settle for mediocre legal representation. Instead, you owe it to yourself to consult an experienced New Hampshire lawyer as soon as possible. These knowledgeable professionals can review your case and tirelessly defend you in a court of law, ensuring that you are treated fairly before, during and after a trial.
