Man who robbed taxi driver at knifepoint may need New Hampshire criminal defense attorney

When you're accused of a crime, it's important to remember that you have the right to be presumed innocent until you are proven guilty in a court of law. That being said, it is in your best interest to enlist the help of a New Hampshire lawyer who can ensure that you are represented fairly throughout the entirety of this process.

A Hudson man who was arrested for robbing a taxi driver at knifepoint may need a New Hampshire lawyer. According to regional news outlet the Union Leader, the incident occurred at approximately 7:50 p.m. on Thursday, August 1. The publication states that a 26-year-old Kevin Dumont pulled out a knife while riding in a cab and demanded that the driver hand over cash. Dumont then fled the vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money.

Shortly after the armed robbery took place, law enforcement officials apprehended the 26-year-old at a Summer Street residence that belonged to one of his relatives. He was "charged with one felony count of robbery, held overnight at the police station and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday morning at the 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division," reports the source.

If you've been accused of a crime in the Granite State, you may feel like the whole justice system is against you. With this in mind, it's essential not to settle for mediocre legal representation. You owe it to yourself to consult with an experienced New Hampshire criminal defense lawyer. These knowledgeable professionals can review your case and defend you in a court of law.
